Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: April 2026. This page explains how magicseteditor.com may earn money from links on this site, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) disclosure guidelines.
The short version
Some outbound links on this site — typically links routed through our /go/ redirect addresses — are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something or sign up for a paid plan, we may earn a commission from the merchant or network. That commission never changes the price you pay. Download links to Magic Set Editor itself (GitHub, SourceForge, the community downloads page, and Flathub) are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
Programs we use or may use
We participate in, or may apply to participate in, the following affiliate programs. A program being listed here means links to that merchant on this site may be affiliate links — it does not mean every link to that merchant earns a commission.
- Amazon Associates — product links to Amazon (for example card sleeves, binders, printers, and printing supplies) may earn a commission. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
- Impact — a network through which merchants such as TCGplayer, Coursera, and Udemy may be linked.
- Partnerize — a network through which Adobe (Creative Cloud / Photoshop) may be linked.
- eBay Partner Network (EPN) — links to eBay listings, for example second-hand cards and hardware, may earn a commission.
- pCloud — links to the pCloud storage service may earn a commission.
- DriveThruCards / DriveThru Partners — links to DriveThruCards and related DriveThru stores may earn a commission.
Placeholder and non-commission links
Some /go/ links are placeholders: they point to a merchant’s normal website so that a tracked affiliate link can be substituted later if an application is approved. A placeholder link earns no commission until it is replaced, and its presence on this page does not imply an existing commercial relationship. Likewise, printing services and other merchants that offer no public affiliate program may be linked and discussed purely because they are relevant to readers; those links earn nothing and are not paid placements.
How this affects our content
Commissions do not determine which software versions we recommend or how we describe a product’s limitations. Magic Set Editor is free, open-source software, and our download guidance is based on the project’s own distribution channels. If a product has no affiliate program, we still cover it when it is the right tool for the job.
